Can anyone tell me how to add a video? I uploaded it like I would a photo but hit the video button and it was taking up to an hour....so I just canceled it. There has to be an easier way...HELP!

Christmas Morning...Yippy!

Christmas morning came way too slow...as always. I could hardly sleep the three days before Christmas. Not so much for what I was going to get but more for what Ryan was going to get. But, with about 4 hours of sleep Christmas Eve night we finally got up at 5:45am. We were awoken by 5 kids who couldn't wait to see what Santa had gotten them. And we couldn't have a Christmas morning without Chase getting a bone that is way too big to fit in his mouth and will take him two days to eat...instead of one! But, he stayed happy all day. :)
As for me....I got a tone of great stuff. Ryan always takes very good care of me and surprises me every year. I really love him for all the effort he puts in to making occasions like this special. Anyway, I got some AWESOME hiking boots. Something I would never have bought myself but once I had them on I refused to take them off. Water proof, warm, and I can't wait to go hiking this summer....oh and now I have good shoes to take to girls camp this year...since I was called the camp director! :)
Then I also got Wii fit! Totally excited for this. I have already set it up and can't wait to work out everyday--help me take off those cruise/holiday/everyday lbs! There was more...but I will stop there and move on to Ryan...
Thanks Honey...You're My Favorite!
Ryan was spoiled rotten and I loved every minute of it. He had no idea what was coming! He wanted a new sleeping bag so after going to REI 100 times and going over every bag about 5 times and almost actually buying about 3 of them multiple times but I could not commit....I actually did the right thing! A few days before Christmas we were at REI and we were looking at sleeping bags (by this time I had finally bought one...) Well, we looked over every bag because he was planning on buying more with a gift card my sister got him and after evaluating every bag for 20 minutes he finally picked one and to my pleasant surprise it was the one I had picked out...so I was excited to for him to open it....
And this is him seeing it and doing some amazing arm pump! :)
Then the best surprise was this...He thought he was done even before e got his sleeping bag so what came next was an even bigger surprise....My family was in on it, watch the video to see the present. Not such a big deal. But he loved it.

We had a great Christmas...we are truely blessed to have eachother and to have such a great family to spend the holidays with!

P.S. With Ryan's present we started a band! "The Bug!"...that's what we call ourselves.

We are huge dorks! :)

'Tis the Season for...Christmas Parties

fWe went to a few Christmas Parties this month. One was with Ryan's friends from Indiana...It was an ugly sweater party and guess who won? ME!!! I have to give credit where credit is due...MOM! Thanks mom for having beautiful Christmas sweaters years ago that now are considered winners at "ugliest sweater" parties. I took a picture but it is lost amongst the many pictures stored on my computer so to see a picture go to our friends blog: ben and Chrissi. My gold pants may have had something to do with the win! :) Thanks Ben and Chrissi... we had a great time. Then there was the family party we had at our house. Here is Ryan with our niece, Aulbanie.
This year I made all my family gifts. Here is what I made...It is their last names on blocks. My friend in AZ showed me how to do it and it is really fun. Dani...your is coming :)
We had a good time playing Christmas Bingo and hanging out. There were a ton more picture but two is enough...right!

Tis the Season for...lights and Chase's birthday!

The 8th was Chase's birthday, 2 years old! He loves popcorn so we let him have his own bowl. It was hilarious to watch. At first he just watched it and didn't really know what to do but then he dug in...it was really funny! And he loved it. He also got a doggy bed...we were hoping that this would mean that we could have our bed back but...nope!
Then today we put up more Christmas lights outside and we had to climb trees. Ryan was laughing because he said he has never seen me climb a tree. He said, "you're my little climber"...I said, "You say "climber", Edward says "Spider Monkey"" Potato/Patato! :) Anyway, good times! Getting down was really touch and go for a while but no one lost an eye and we are both expected to make a full recovery! Wow, climbing trees is not as easy as Edward makes it. :)

Oh, and I am almost (notice I said "almost") embarrassed to say:
Twlight number 5: check!

Giving Thanks for a Thanksgiving Weekend!

We had a great Thanksgiving. We went to my parents/sisters house and ate way too much food. Thanksgiving food is so good I am confused as to why we wait another whole year to eat it again. It is just so tasty! We watched Fred Clause which only two out of about 12 stayed awake for the entire movie. We ate pie and played Apples to Apples. My grandma also came out for the festivities.
Even though she can't really remember who any of us are it is always good to see her and have her around! Then this weekend we put up our Christmas decorations! Yea! I was sick all weekend but I refused to be down and out for my four day holiday so I pushed through and because of it it is day 5 and I am still sick. Anywho...here is our tree.
As Ryan was tightening the tree in the stand Chase got right up under the tree too to see what he was doing. He just watched--it was funny!
The lights were low when we took the picture so it is a little blurry...it is a tree you have the idea. And then our favorite part of Christmas decorations...our village! Over the years it has grown! We didn't really realize it until it was up. But, we like it--it is Christmas to us.

Look Jess...this is for you. Do you recognize those "sisters"? We got a church last year to give them a home. :)
Merry Christmas Decorating Everyone!
Oh and if you ask me if I have seen Twilight 4 times (so far) I would have to say...YES! I promise there are more Twilight Crazed people out there than I am! :) I am just a fan! I am also still open to invitations...Anyone what to go see it? If not, I can go alone...like I did today!
Do I have a Twilight problem? (Ry, don't answer that!)

CRUSIN'...

Ok, so I finally found time to sit down and blog about the cruise...I will try to keep it short :)
DAY 1
We flew all through the night to Florida. Word to the wise...Red Eye's are not your friend. We had a 3 hours layover and it is impossible to sleep in an airport and it was freezing! So when we arrived at the main port I was tired and a little unpleasant....I say a little others may say a lot...potato patato really!
We got on the ship and ate lunch and we ate!!! Of course it was the first day and we wanted to try a little bit of everything. Then we watched the ship set sail at sun set. It was all really cool if you ask me. Every night we ate in the dinning room at as assigned table and had a server from the Ukraine and her assistant from Jamaica. Each night after dinner they have a show for entertainment. It is all really cheese and I had to deal with Ryan rolling his eyes a hundred times but oer all it was entertaining. They had a couple of comedians that were pretty funny and a magician. The problem with magicians is that I can't really sit and enjoy because I am constantly trying to figure out how they do the trick! The cruise line goes around and takes pictures of everything that you can buy and since I am such a sucker a bunch of the pictures are scanned from those. Pictures from Day 1:

DAY 2
Day 2 was a day at sea...nothing exciting. We slept in and explored the ship. It was also the first formal night so we got to dress up for dinner and the nightly show. I loved it because I just love to dress up...Ry may not of loved it because he forgot his suit coat, ties, and belts. So when he said, "Am I forgetting anything?" The answer was YES!
On the formal nights they have all these picture places set up and the photographers put you in the most awkward positions...we could hardly keep a straight face! The picture of the two of us is one of those poses...I had to buy it! :)
DAY 3
San Juan, Puerto Rico. She ship arrived at 5 pm and by the time we got off the ship it was dark. We took a taxi around and the driver would say things like, "to the right is the most beautiful beach in Puerto Rico." And when you looked...nothing! It was all black. So it was not our favorite stop. None the less it was cool to be there.
DAY 3:
St. Thomas. This day was awesome! We went to a beach and went snorkeling and then went into town for shopping where we both got a cruisin gift to ourselves :).
That last picture is more just for me...he is so cute!
DAY 4
St. Maartin. This day we did more snorkeling. We kayaked over to a private little island and beach and then to a larger private island...were we found clothing was optional! We opted for the clothing and kept to the far end of the beach! :) My mom and sister shopped and we played in the water all day...it was Awesome!
When I went on a cruise 8 years ago I wore these GOLD pants and everyone hated them but me. Well they happen to still fit so they are my new cruisin pants! I love them! Ryan wanted something to be cruisy too so we found him this wickedly awesome island shirt in St. Maartin. It was hilarious!
DAY 5 and 6
Days at sea...heading back to Miami. We mostly hung out and slept. But we did have another formal night.
Dan ended up getting heat stroke or something and they missed the formal night @ dinner.
We went to a game show and Ryan and my dad got called up to play in one game and Lei got called up in another. Ryan killed his game infact the only question my dad got right was, "what is your relation to Ryan?" and the other lady got, "what is your favorite brand of coffee." The host showed pity! :) Ryan and Lei both won their games and won "Ships on a Stick" It was really funny!
DAY 7
Sad to come home....and tired!
So here is my Cruise question: When you get on the boat you EMBARK and when you get off you DEBARK so when you are just on the ship are you BARKING? I am puzzled :)
If you are still with me and are still reading. I saw twilight and loved it! Love the book 100% more but the movie is good. I am going again tonight and then again next week...I am doing my part to make Stephenie Meyers money and get the others made!

Hi Ho, Hi Ho...

I love Halloween! It is my most favorite holiday! This year I decided to get a costume..so I did!
My Prince Charming!
SNOW WHITE! With the dark brown hair it just fit. It was really fun to dress up. The day before Halloween I had a big meeting at work and I dressed up and acted like we were supposed to but knowing very well no one was...it was pretty hilarious! Then i dressed up for work on Halloween and we had a big party. Then I got to hand out candy which I loved...Ry and his mom just sat there while I had all the fun! :) Ry almost go the Buzz Lightyear costume but it didn't come with a helmet so he backed out! :)
A couple of days before Halloween we carved pumpkins too. It is fun living in a house you actually have a porch to put your pumpkins on, a door for people to come Trick or Treating at, and a front porch to decorate! It was really fun!
Mine is the witch...Ryan did the wolves! Pretty cool!
